what position should the Jets target at pick #9?

BPA aside, what position, or position group, do you think the Jets should be making the #1 priority with this years draft class?

The categories will be:

QB
OL
WR/TE
RB

DL
LB
DB

poll coming...

it all depends on what transpires with the current qb situation.

Is there a QB you'd be comfortable with @9?

I say OG as there are a few maulers available in the top 10 picks. We will finally get our running game going against good teams. That would be a good start.

I'd be pretty happy if we ended up with Warmack.

OLB is the biggest need and a good one should be there for us. I'll be enraged if we take an olineman or QB at 9.

I'm not sure it matters. Regardless of what happens with Sanchez/McElroy/Tebow I don't think there's a QB worthy of the #9 pick that would fix the Jets QB situation in either the short term or long term.

Can you make "Trade pick for pick next year" an option?

Two first rounders next year could yield a trade up for Clowney, Bridgewater, or Manziel.

I wouldn't be opposed to doing that at all. Or a trade down if it comes to that.

I think we can trade back and get Warmack. St Louie has 2 first round picks maybe trade back with them take Warmack and the big TE from Notre Dame

If we had two first round picks, we could have Warmack and our pick of the litter at OLB!!!!!!!!!

LB is our biggest need.

we're losing 3 starters at the position, in the draft we need to address the depth and speed of our LB corps.

Starting to hear Warmack talk everywhere. I think someone will grab him high. I wouldn't trade back too far and expect to get him.

Here's hoping that GS3 under center, and Coples on the edge works out.

You don't take an OG over an edge rusher. You might take a LT but we have one. Howard actually made a lot of improvement over the year too. Our biggest problems in pass protection are actually at TE, and RB anyway. That and the QBs. I would use a 2nd if a good lineman falls to us then I would use multiple picks later on hoping to hit on one.
