Well at least he can admit to his mistake, I guess he gets credit for that. |

Burfict. Ugh!
I wanted him badly on a flyer in the late rounds. We know OLB is a major need and this guy was a risk/reward pick. Could have filled a major need and had a starting OLB with a 6th or 7th rounder. |

I wouldn't have been surprised if the Jets wanted him but did not want the unnecessary press attention that a potential malcontent like Burfict could bring. I thought he would have been a late round steal myself.

Forget Coples, Kiper gave the Seahawks a C-.
All they did was draft an elite pass rusher and a starting QB who led them to the playoffs as a rookie. |

Here's hoping that GS3 under center, and Coples on
the edge works out.

This is the same guy who argued against Gruden during the draft that the Seahawks made a mistake drafting Russell Wilson. and said he would never be a starting QB in the NFL. This guy is the worst analyst I have ever seen how ESPn keeps him Is beyond me.

Jones had 6.0 sacks, 3 forced Fumbles, 4 tackles for a loss, 5 pass defenses, and 45 tackles. He did drop off after he missed two games from injuries, but he was a legitimate DROY candidate before that. Reyes was a rookie bust until he played the Jets. Kiper is a joke. I have no problem with Coples being on the list because he did come around in the second half of the season, but Jones still arguably had the best year of any DE in this year's rookie class. Reyes sucked for most of the year. Last edited by Rob0729; 01-02-2013 at 03:34 PM. |

FWIW, here is Profootball Weekly's All Rookie Defensive team:

http://www.profootballweekly.com/201...ic-rookie-clas Bruce Irvin is also a clear ommission from Kiper's list. Irvin led all rookie DEs in sacks. |

At least we can agree that Coples and Jones aren't on the same level, but if Coples works harder in the offseason he might catch Jones. Coples was a very good situational player down the stretch. Maybe next year, he could be an every down player like Jones is. |
