Delanie Walker would be a pretty good start.

Good news if true. I hope by 'can work with Rex' it means locking the door on the scouting complex and telling REx to sit down, shut up and coach the players he is given.

you mean no more "terminator" picks in the draft.

tell rex to go home and we call him when the draft is over.

Do you think this move will result in Gamble obtaining Alex Smith?

This.

Also, I hope he brings in an OC that will not succumb to the "don't f*ck up, Offense" attitude, that's been taught by our Defense-first HC of ours.

might Gamble bring in Geep Chryst or Tim Drevno for OC? Chryst helped Smith become a solid QB and obviously had a hand in Kaep. Drevno helped make SF's OL one of the best in the league

Steiny...Bassett.. these guys have proven time and time again to be unresourceful and unreliable. Very upsetting.

That would be a good think if we could give them all three of our QBs in a trade.

In another universe, I prefer Colin Kapernick over Alex Smith; however, Alex was doing well with the 49er before his concussion.

Why do you give a sh*t HOW their relationship works? If it works, HOWEVER it works, WTF would you care?

You are assuming REX is to blame for Mike Tannenbaum getting fired? Is that it? You think that Rex had too much "say so" with Mike Tannenbaum when it came to drafting, right? You think Rex's selection of players were very bad and caused Tanny to get fired, right? You think Rex had a lot to do with Sanchez's extension, right?

I'm not trying to accuse you of anything here. I'm honestly just asking the question. Is that what you think?

Rex had nothing to do with getting Tanny fired. Tanny had the authority and the wherewithall to do whatever he damn well pleased. In the end, he dug himself a grave. If you honestly think that, I think you should stop thinking that way because you have no evidence to support it.

And with all due respect, I think that could be a lot of the reason you think rex should have been fired, right??
