Video freeks please help me with a recommendation

I am shooting lots of iPhone vids as a low budget Qwentin Tarantula, and I am using Windows Movie Maker to "do things".

If I plunk down $30 for Quick TIme Pro will I get a better experience (creating videos) or is low end video just fishy business?

grazie!

An Oakland native asked me to explain "clam digging" this afternoon.

You can't make this stuff up.

I'd go with Adobe Premiere Pro ($799) and Adobe After Effects ($999).

It's quality video editing software.

If money is not an issue go AVID

Otherwise if it's just being shot on an iPhone then iMovie or Final Cut Pro will do you fine unless you're the second coming of Spielberg
