Not to worry. The new GM will see that he is fired. Anyone with an ounce of football sense would get rid of him.

On the Jets ... Since I've been asked, process is ongoing. Tom Gamble entered it as the favorite. But others can surely still win that job.

Sparano will be gone once we hire a new GM. All the dominoes will start to fall after that happens.
Nonetheless, how comfortable can it be now in the coaching room between Ryan and Sparano after reading that Ryan wants Sparano gone? It's out there, whether true or not. Although I'm sure Ryan is denying it to Sparano.

Mmhmm. Haven't heard anything on Dorsey, and SD's leading candidates are Jimmy Raye and Tom Telesco. So, with all that in mind, it would appear that Gamble is our guy.

Anybody here have that ominous feeling that Scott Cohen would end up the GM in the end?

i mean why the fuk not, right? It's bad enough we had to deal with Tanny....Now we'd have to deal with his Protege(Assistant GM). FML.

Rex is better at denying allegations than coaching football.

Cohen actually wouldn't be terrible. He has a strong scouting background. He worked under Tom Heckert with the Eagles.

He's not the sexy pick mainly because he's an internal candidate, and I wouldn't say he's my top choice, but I don't think he'd be a bad one either.

main knock is that he may have allegiances to guys who tanny hired or drafted.

LOL, was thinking the same thing. Under normal circumstances I have nothing against the guy, but he should be the last guy we hire.

Not necessary. It could still be Ross, who seems very impressive.

Dorsey and Heckert are being tied to KC. With Heckert as GM and Dorsey under him. Not sure what role, or if it will come to be.
