Another pathetic attempt by Manish to stir up something that isnt there.

All Jets coaches had a week off, that started last monday and ended today, sparano included.

Him being there is 1000% meaningless, especially since Manish is just commenting on his own story.

anyone that knows football could tell Sparano did a poor job..Woody surely doesnt. It will surely be up to the New GM thats obvious. Maybe he was just rusty being he hadnt called a game in a long time? and never had much experience play calling anyway? lol.. can he improve? maybe, doubtful.. Like many Jet players and nfl insiders have pointed out he has no creativity.. Never could adjust to what the D was doing..

The new GM has not yet been hired.

The original source for the "Sparano will be fired" was the media, and an anonymous source, not the team or the Head Coach. It is not a verified fact.

As such, this is not news per se. Sparano is a Jets employee. He is entitled to use/visit the facilities until that is no longer the case. We have no factual information to say Ryan, or Woody, or the new as-yet-unhired GM will want Sparano fired.

So, another day in NY Medialand. If there is no story today, create one.

Moreover....all of this morphed from the original Manish story that unnamed sources said that Rex wanted Norv as OC.

Of course that unnamed source was probably someone without any real ties to the decision makers Rex who probably made an off hand comment that Rex really "respects" Norv.

Throw that "respect" comment into Manish's spin machine and it becomes, "Rex wants Sporano out".

That's the way these guys work and until the general fanbase realizes this (which will be never), these stories will continue.
