And, taking it further, a person in a very public position who aspires to be a famous NFL head coach shouldn't be going near that type of thing.

It's called "bad decision making". That's why it's relevant to discuss here on the forums. If anyone can find a head coach in the history of the NFL that made as many bad decisions as Rex Ryan, let me know.
