@AlbertBreer: Caldwell picked the Jaguars as his landing spot after after a second interview for the Jets GM job. Contract still needs to be finalized.

No one does that except the Jets. F-in Amazing. It's Cohen...I'm starting to believe it more and more... |

Didn't Caldwell originally leave Jax w/o a deal, go on a 2nd interview w/ the Jets only to choose the Jax job?

I said in a thread last week that it will be telling who actually accepts the Jets GM job. It will tell us what people inside the NFL really think about the franchise. IF the Jets end up with Cohen, then we know that people want nothing to do with Rex AND Woody.

Looks like the Jets were used by Caldwell to get the Jags to match his $$$.

My advice to all of you is don't go to games.
It's all our fault Woody's still here. You all bought PSL's and now you've given him leeway. |

Don't buy real licensed apparel either. If you must have a Jets jersey, get it from Yuki Jersey or some place overseas like that. Ef-em.

So much for Rex not scaring away potential candidates. No one wanted to come to this circus, especially after today's ****show of a press conference.

If Gamble takes the Chargers job we're ****ing hosed.
I'm dying to see who Rex picks in the draft, besides his nose and his ass.

Looks like its Cohen
He is the only GM candidate who wants to be the meat in an idiot sandwich. And he comes at a cheaper salary. This is not a team that fails to be successful, it is a zoo that fails to be an entertaining circus. Except to the pats.

You can't tell me that Woody's decision to retain Rex, regardless of what a new GM may or may not want to do, and his man-love display today for Rex (which I am sure he showed during his interviews with these GM candidates), did not have a major impact on the decision of the quality candidates that would actually take the job.
Its an NFL GM opening, sure. Caldwell and Gamble both wanted to have the option of taking the role if nothing else better opened up. Looks like something else better opened up for both of them. Let's hope one of the two rumours are not true, and we get one of the top guys. |
