Does "Attacking-Style OC" Mean Mike Martz?

Would be a completely irresponsible hire, way out of left field, but typical of this team right now. Could see this happening....

I am not sure Rex even knows what he meant by saying that.

Mike Martz should be sending Kurt Warner a percentage of every dime he earns in the NFL.

Martz's whole system based on timing and accuracy - seems like the perfect fit for the QB with the league's worst completion percentage.

Step one: Find QB with ability to complete 56+% of passes.

We're dooooomed.

+1. Last year he said he wants an aggressive guy just like him, too. Now that guy is unemployed.

Well at least you would not worry about signing Keller.

If Martz was hired, I could see him and Rex getting into a fistfight on the sidelines ... so the Jets will probably hire him.

It would be nice to see someone not afraid to stand up to him.

We dont have the right personnel for a Martz offense. You need a QB with a quick release and ability to run, you need speed receivers who can get yards after the catch. You need a smash-mouth running back.

You need 5 Hall of Famers. Martz is done. He's no longer even considered mildly innovative.

The interesting thing is that Martz stated as an NFL analyst that the Jets were not grooming Sanchez properly and that he would relish the opportunity to train him.....

But the Jets were wedded to the superstar QB creator coach Cav......

No you can't make it up......

Good Grief...

Someone understands.

And FWIW--Martz retired...of course a big check could change that but his system gets QBs killed

Mike Martz retires from coaching

“It’s time,” Martz told the Sun-Times.

Rex is running out of things to say. At this point he is throwing h*t at the wall and hoping it sticks.

A semi-retired, half interested Mike Martz is an upgrade over a fully-engaged, caffeine-fueled Tony Sporano.
