That's not the point! Point is, once again the Jets can't land their guy and have to settle for someone who never was and probably never would've been. We always have to settle because no good coach or front office guy want's to come to this poorly ran team. Cohen will be a puppet GM. Rex will be calling the shots which we now know after todays presser.

Thanks, now you're just piling on. ![]() What I am more worried about is Rex. He has had more say on personnel over the last four year than anyone is admitting now. He dictated just about every free agent that we signed, remember him showing up at Bart's door at midnight? He had a ton of influence on draft picks, And even on the trades of Cromartie and Tebow. Tanny was to blame for Sanchez and Holmes guarantees and thus should have been fired. But Rex is responsible for the roster in that he decides who to play. How did he actually have Hunter start for an entire year and the. Go into the next season as the starter when he had Howard THE WHOLE time? Refusing to bench Sanchez? I've stated in the past, with all of the first round picks, high priced free agents, and trades, half the coaches in the league would have had a top 10 defense. Now he's desperate and will be making decisions on how to win in 2013 with no care on 2014 and beyond. We are treading dangerous grounds here. |

Don't you get it? This is all a dog & pony show for the media and the fans.
Look at us, we hired Korn/Ferry. Look we interviewed Tom Gamble. Look we interviewed Dave Caldwell - twice! Oh, they decided to take jobs with other organizations - but look at who we found right down the ****ing hall?! Now they can't possibly say that we have not done our due dilligence, can they? |

This was an elaborate scam designed to insult Jets fans' intelligence. Woody was NEVER serious about getting a GM other than from within. He's nothing but a money-grubbing piece of horse-sh-t. |

![]() The truth is folks out here don't like what you wrote because to do so would mean that they have to accept that the Jets were AWFUL in their development of Sanchez.... Indeed I have not heard of one objective observer of NFL football say that the Jets have done a good job of developing him.... Not One!! All Brady's development shows is how INCOMPETENT the Jets are!!! Sad and Good Grief!!

Right back to where we were a month and half ago. I bet you he put off the press conference just so he could stay in the headlines. |

If this happens, the only logical explanation would be that the qualified candidates didnt want to deal with rex.

But the truth is, no real GM was coming here. And if there was a chance, after todays presser it's gone. We are just a poor franchise that really never gets their guy. We always have to settle after everyone has walked away or turned us down. |

Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora
Hear that Scott Cohen was very impressive during interview today. Jets could end up promoting their assistant GM to GM
