I hope he gets the job, then we all know why we didn't hire Caldwell.

schitty is a legend in his own mind. what a piece of trash that clown was and is. he has done absolutely nothing in his career as oc with the jets and then rams. and what he did do was stab mangini right in the back.

I've said this before, but I believe Shotty will be a far better HC than he was OC. I do think he has the qualities to be a leader of men, it's just his offensive philosophies are terrible. If he's willing to let someone else run the offense I actually do think he'll be a good coach. Call me crazy.

His father Marty was a great HC, just not in the playoffs for some reason.

First off, what has SChotty done to earn a head coaching gig? His offenses have been bad to average.

With that said, i think Schotty would actually make a decent head coach. He is a smart guy and has the pedigree.

I would kill or praise Caldwell for giving him an interview.

I just have no idea how he can go from being terrible in NY to being average in St Louis to being a candidate for a HC job.

The guy tried as hard as he could while he was here and I appreciate it. That's all I ask from any jet. Maybe things didn't work out here but I know he gave it everything he had. I wish him the best if he gets the job.
