Who becomes the new OC of the NYJ

Let's take a break from the GM search and talk about coaching. We all agree that "Ground and Pound" needs to die a painful death and never return. So who is the guy to modernize our offense and improve our passing game? The new OC probably won't find much success until they find a QB but we need a solid x's and o's guy.

My vote is for Hue Jackson. Love the job he did in Oakland with Jason Campbell and Run DMC. He didn't get a fair shake because of the regime change in Oakland. I would even go as far as to say that the HC job is his next year if/when Rex gets canned.

What say you? Who's the next OC of the NYJ.

Poll coming soon.

I voted for Cam.

Mainly because it's the worst possible move. Treat an would be great and he could replace Rex. But Rex won't make that call.

There's NO reason to delay the process. Start Geno Smith.

Isn't Trestman set to become the Bears Head Coach?

I'm going with Hue Jackson because of his ties to Rex, but I'd like Ken Whisenhunt.

I too think it may be Hue Jackson due to his familiarity with Rex. If the Jets don't go the retread route, then they would need to look for offensive asst or QB coaches on NFL staffs today.

Some guys I wouldn't mind giving a shot are:

Ken Zampese - QB coach Cin
Clyde Christensen - QB Coach Ind
Jerry Sullivan - Wr coach Jax

Don't think Trestman is a shoe-in just yet. I actually wouldn't mind Trestman/Popp in a package deal.

They mentioned on ESPN that Lovie Smith (Almost positive it was Lovie Smith) wants to bring Hamilton along w/ his staff is he becomes a HC again.

Yes it was Lovie Smith. If he gets an HC job it is expected Pep Hamilton would join his staff.

Now if the Jets or any other team offer him the position I don't know that he would wait, since it is not a sure thing that Lovie Smith will be hired as a HC.

If it's Cameron, you might as well watch Jets/Giants from Christmas Ever over and over this off-season, because that's what 2013 will look like. The guy had Ray Rice and said, **** IT let's air it out with Joe Flacco!!! -- Recipe for disaster here.

I have no idea. But Hue Jackson is the best fit now that Norv is committed to the Browns.

However ... You are failing to see the forest through the trees. A Cam Cameron led Ariel attack with Sanchez at the helm will most definitely result in an even more entertaining debacle than last year !

Hue Jackson may be able to do something with this mess.

Cam Cameron is the quickest path to Teddy Bridgewater....

This job has Cam Cameron's name written all over it.

Just think about how much he'll be throwing without Ray Rice on his team.
