Just about the worst possible candidate I could think of.
Makes sense that we would hire him

I refuse to believe that Angelo is a serious candidate.

Worse possible scenario IMO.
One guy that has failed and the other guy has not given any indication of being good. I cannot believe that after Looking at something like 14 candidates, these two guys are our top two. Which leads me to believe that during the interviews no one wants Ryan long term. Woody is going to get everything he F'n deserves with this team going forward. Problem is it will be at the expense of the fans. |

He interviewed with Woody back in 2001 which eventually went to Bradway. Has always been respected by Tanny/Bradway and wait for it, Parcells...As I stated earlier, he has an excellent reputation as a scout, but as GM? He seems alot like Bradway, stick to scouting.

Angelo or Cohen for GM.....Cameron for OC..... worst possible choices....what a clueless f&*k Woody is....let's hire the worst retreads we can find. So typical. So short sighted. So SOJ. Why do I like this friggin team? It would be less pain to be paddled or caned by one of those S&M chicks than to hope this team can make a reasonably good decision. F*(K me.

This might explain Angelo's stock soaring:

Angelo is a failure
Check the Bears fan board, no fan shed a tear when he left.

The name to watch is former Chicago Bears general manager Jerry Angelo, who is high on the Jets' radar. Angelo had an impressive interview, sources said.

It played out that way too in his horrid drafts and excellent free agent signings. It got to the point where Bear fans were cheering when he started trading his draft picks for pro players since they knew he'd bust out. He's the exact opposite of what we need and how the great franchises build their rosters up. I've never been one to over-react, but this move would seriously make me question my fandom. I might be done if they hire this guy. |

The more I think about it the more I realize that these reporters don't know anything.
They all just tweet everything and hope something sticks. A week ago Gamble was a lock. This search has been air tight and they're slinging **** on the wall. |

it sounds like angelo succumbed to gm disease. you know he started out pretty good but then the owner wanted wins and so mortgaged the team to get a qb and no one else plus a bunch of free agents.
