Maybe Woody is just being a nice guy dropping Teblow
off in Jacksonville

Gary Myers ‏@garymyersNYDN
Former Bears GM Jerry Angelo is best fit for Jets: He has experience building a team that went to the SB. Others are young or cap guys.

FFffffffffffffffffffffffffff, Hey Tanny is experienced we should have kept him.

Yeah young guys are bad, very very bad.

Out of a huge batch of candidates therre are about 3 I don't like and of course two of the 3 are apparent finalists for the job.

While I think Jets will hire some1 quickly for GM job, they have been getting rebuffed a lot and gone back to some asking them to reconsider

Angelo would be a solid choice. Certainly for those who believe Rex has too much to say, Angelo would probably be a good choice. I honestly don't know how well Angelo and Rex will be though afterall, he hired Lovie Smith who is quite low key.

Rex isn't what GM candidates are concerned with - their cap situation, personnel, QB and the circus turned a lot of candidates off

Previous reports that the #Jets interviewed Russ Ball (Packers) and Jim Popp (Montreal) aren't true.

Angelo would be an awful hire. He makes questionable free agent signings and is not a skilled drafter. Sound familiar?
