I just don't understand why Popp wouldn't get any consideration?

Bc he's CFL and Woody fears a backlash?

If Popp can spot talent that deep into a pool of college/amateurs/former or aspiring pros and have a successful track record, why wouldn't he continue to be successful in the pros?

It makes little sense to me and I would not be happy with retread Angelo.

Why did Popp come out and say that he wanted the Jets job if he wasn't at least talked to? That makes no sense.

If no one wants the job this year, than give it to Cohen with no contract extension. Then next January, fire everyone, cap hell is over, we'll probably picking in the top 5.

This would look a lot better to potential candidates than we do now. Nobody wants to have their reputation attached to the 2013 Jets.

Popp isn't...I've stated this before...and maybe the Jets just talked to Ball, like Popp, not actually interviewing him

Never have I heard so many conflicting reports. This seems to indicate that the media actually has no idea whats going on.

When a choice is finally made, I expect the unexpected.

Looking long term. If we make the wrong hire, it is going to set us back 5-7 years.

At this point we all know what next year is going to be like. As long as Woody knows we are doing this exact thing next year, I'm OK. If Ryan and Cohen ate the long term answers, I will have much better things to do on my Sundays.

Including wearing my Russell Wilson jersey.

To be fair, Woody never said how big his tip was.

HUGE cock.

Jon Heyman makes a living in a sport that allows teams with a $200 Million dollar pay rolls to "compete" against teams that pay $65 Million for players, and then pretends that it does not matter.

Does he even know what a salary cap is or how it works?

I would say (in no particular order), Gaine, Cohen and Angelo are the finalists for the #Jets GM job. #nyj
I'm feeling physically ill.
