The problem is that according to Cimini, we are going to have to go through ANOTHER week. They want a decision by Friday as interviews begin Tuesday.

At ANY position on offense.

2006 Mangold was the last solid pick.

Doesn't scouting for the Senior Bowl start Wednesday?

I'd want my GM there.

LOL...well isnt that an integral part of a good vs. bad contract??

So you are saying the money was fine, but the player sucked, so the contract was good?? Thats pretty comical.

IF he gave that contract to Tom Brady, would you have complained?

Right missed him. Same year though. 2006 is a long time ago.

The second mystery guest. He's a personnel guy.

Exactly, because the reality of it is that a new GM would need to bring in his own scouting department for the draft prospects. The reality is, if the Jets are telling GM's that he also has to keep Bradway and the other guy's currently making the decision's could be another reason candidates are hard to come by in essence leaning in the direction of Scott Cohen who is currently working with these guys.
Interested in seeing what happens here. My expectation is that someone is in no later than Tuesday.

Are you THAT clueless? What makes a contract good or bad is WHO you give it to and whether they are worthy of the money.

I disagree. And I'll leave it at that.

Potentially could be the 4th coach under Rex this year that has found another job, along with Pettine, Sutton, and asst D-line coach.

Interesting that Rex is considered bad in forming staffs yet people under him are getting hired.

This. Tanny's faults were pissing away 2012 and 2013 to make a run in 2011. Can't blame him for trying but he was banking his career on the likes of Sanchez, Harris, and Holmes. The whole time screwing over Revis and jerking younger players like Slauson over.

That said, the biggest err in judgement was relying on Rex Ryan for input in personnel.

If it is Khan, I only hope it gives us a little credibility. Khan isn't stupid enough to let Rex have any influence on anything other than free agents signed for one year only. I do no want anyone signed long term this off season.

@AdamSchefter: As @RoobCSN reported, Eagles interviewed former Ravens HC Brian Billick on Monday for their HC job.

Aren't the Steelers having cap problems too? Maybe I'm wrong.

This would be a demotion for Sparano.

Sutton was here long before Rex.

And Pettine is a lateral move.

Not exactly a bona fide coaching tree.

If the Jets have named GM finalists, they haven't told any of them yet. Ex-Denver GM Ted Sundquist is also among those who interviewed there
