It's very simple. If you want to ice the kicker, which you should probably just skip anyway, make sure you call the timeout immediately. Giving him a free kick is ridiculous! Kicking into the net doesn't give you any feel for how the ball is fading or drawing on you that day. I kick field goals sometimes for ****s and I can tell you my accuracy goes up probably 25% if you give me a second try.

That said I wouldn't say he "missed" the first one. It was a late snap and a hop stop kick cause they knew it was a timeout.

After the Pats scored the second TD, I changed the channel.

I tune back in, and Houston has a thrird and goal from the one. Just got a TD.

I'll turn it off again now.

there definitely is a touch of the sanchize in Matt Schab's game. though he doesn't get that hand dog look.

No question. In the first half on those two runs by Foster he sounded like they were 3 yard gains. That 20 yard scamper by Vereen sounded like the Cal marching band play.

Just reading those words....with all the crap going on with the Jets, I hadnt given a minute of thought to this possibility. Until now.

I honestly dont know if I want something this emotionally draining in my life anymore. The Pats winning again with our whole organization in turmoil for who knows how many more years.... would seal it.
