Lmao. Peyton may have that terrible record in the playoffs but he still has a Super Bowl ring. The other might be doing missionary work during next season. Tebow is not better than Manning you f'ng moron. He never will be. Manning was still the right choice for the broncos. The fact that his thread is still open as if its actually up for debate is absolutely laughable.

Using you're logic Mark Sanchez was absolutely the right choice this year because he has 4 playoff wins.

What the hell is the point of this thread anyway??

Vinniekt spent about 95% of this entire thread shoved up Teblow's ass....

But Teblow is pretty much a goner at this point.

And what pisses me off is that the Jets are slow in acquiring their GM so that they can then move on and show the Tebow the door.....

In the meantime, this "clown", along with Demos adding his 1-cent in, is doing nothing but TROLLING about how "great" Teblow is...

Go back and reread some of my posts in this thread and in others Vin. What you will NOT find is me talking about how "GREAT" Tebow is. What I have said is that he CAN BE a good QB, and I've defended the successes that he has had so far.

Like the Jets game. I haven't argued that he was an all pro. Fact is that he didn't do well for most the game. BUT, in the end, when it came crunch time, the kid delivered.

IF he can ever become consistent and played entire games the way he plays in the last 5 minutes of most games, he could be very successful and give a lot of NFL teams a hell of a lot of trouble.

I don't see the logic. Any team can beat any other in a single game, it happens. Especially in the playoffs. If you look at the bigger sample of this season over last season, it's pretty easy to see the difference. I mean it's basically the same Denver team, minus Orton/Tebow, plus Manning, right?

I didn't want Tebow, thought it was a terrible thing to do with our QB situation (of course, at that time I expected Sanchez' play to rebound this year). But we did bring him in, and Sanchez continued to struggle, so Tebow should have seen more of the ball (i still thought mcelroy should qb actually, but use Tebow in the wildcat more). But people like to say "look what Tebow did in Denver" as an argument as to why he should have played more, and that's off the mark, I think. We're not Denver, not on either side of the ball nor on special teams.

False. The Broncos were 1-4 prior to his 1st start.

Logic is not a strong point of this blog. They are in tune with a coach who has a Sanchez tattoo and are doing just what Einstein said that "insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result"...Anyone who has an ounce of sanity knows that Sanchez sucked as the starter and that it would have been rationale to give the backup a start...of course No if that backup happened to be Tebow.
For a QB that has led his team to a playoff win...the 1st Denver playoff win since 2006...Manning lovers...It is apparent that Tebow was never given a chance as a Jet.
I'm a Jet fan and would love to have seen them win but to see this season progress and never pull the Tattoo for Tebow was crazy...

BTW, since you love stats here are some, the great Peyton Manning took 6 years before he could win a playoff game, he was 0-3 his first 3 attempts, he is a choker. His first season as a QB he went 3-13, his first 4 years as a starter he was 32-32, Tebow btw was 7-4 as a starter and won his very first playoff game and yes he won it stat man, 316 yds 2 TD's 0 INT's.
Mark Sanchez- 38 wins 32 losses, including a 4-2 record in the playoffs. WINNAH!!!!!

It's obvious that Tebow is better than Manning, but the big question is where does he fall on the GOAT list, 1A or 1B?

I have a feeling that they were planning on that, but the offense probably had a difficult time executing in practice without a real opponent.

Next time I have a spare moment to wade thru the disgusting and unwarranted bile of hatred in this thread, I will count the number of frothing at the mouth Tebowphobe comments vs the comments from the allegedly gigantic cult of Tebowphiles.

You already know what I'll find, even if I count every thread on this forum: vicious personal attacks from a huge majority of posters on this board against a few fans who would've liked to see Tebow start a game for the Jets. Hateful bile directed at a Jets player who's done nothing to deserve the sh*t you sling.

I find it very telling that when ESPN and NFL pundits spent a few days raking Rex over the coals for misusing Tebow this season, most of you agreed that Rex had gone out of his way to humiliate Tebow and that it was wrong. A lot of you were embarrassed by Rex's behavior and said Rex should at least start Tebow for one of the last two games. But as soon as the season was over and the media censure of Rex died down, most of you went right back to hateful slurs and Tebow putdowns.

I guess this is the only way you can deal with the shame of having a petty and spiteful Head Coach who made even the most rancid Tebow-hater uncomfortable this season. Instead of blaming Tebow or a few Tebow fans for the clusterf*ck that is Rex Ryan's jets, you should accept responsibility for supporting a head coach who ruined a young man's career for no good reason at all.

SAR I is correct in his assessment of Rex Ryan.

Now post the divisional round stats. Those are more the norm for Tim Lolbow.

The entire league has already seen what Tim has last year and he is absolutely awful. His Defense and Kicker carrying him the entire time doesn't change that.

LOL, way to completely back down.

If anything, I'd see if he can play FB or make him a short-yardage back. He'd probably do well at FB given his size and physicality, and he's virtually impossible to stop on Down & Inches/Short. Could be an asset there, but he's not an NFL QB.

To not have given him a shot really was absurd unless you were beholden to Sanchez because you drafted Sanchez and had his tattoo. Anyhow, whatever I suppose most Jets fans would rather lose than try a guy out.

See, that's not how it works in football. You don't start with an athlete with a following and try and find a place for him on some football team because he is popular with people who don't know football from their ASS****. The way it works - in the NFL - is you have a team, a coach, a philosophy and you fill openings with qualified personnel that fit your scheme. In your Tebow world you have it ASS BACKWARDS. And don't blame Rex for trying to salvage his own career by not putting the Tebow ****show on the field. Tebow does not HaVE a career, BTW.

Why aren't you gone yet?
