The 47% of pukes who dont pay a cent in income tax and illegal parasites are leeches Its not the fault of Romney, who stayed far away from non-economic issues that low information (D) dopes can only feel things like identity politics and not grasp economic facts -you always whine about some necessary (R) plan when (D) whos crap social engineering caused the recession, and did nothing in 4 years to get us out except make things worse has no plan except to redistribute aka STEAL from others and make reparations Also not Romney's fault clueless 'conservative" Socons and Libertarians decided that the fear of Mormonism and/or a idiotic belief that (D) = (R) resulted in teh anathema to conservatism - B. Hussein Hopenchange Part Deux So all our national fruits nuts Flukes and flakes should enjoy less money in their pay check via the payroll tax hike and coming re-recession along with gun-grabbing and burning embassies as a bonus |

Reagan created the playbook, positive economic policy that lifts all boats. This attack of the underclass is simply divisive drivel that will keep the Social engineers in business for a long time to come. Bashing the underclass is playing right into the hands of the liberal establishment. You got your ass kicked in the National elections it was a slaughter on what at worst should have been an equally divided Senate. |

Still, even after the dope Obama wins a 2nd term, people like this guy absolutely refuse to look in the mirror and even think of contemplating that they may be at least part of the root cause. Those that espouse the virtues of personal responsibility most exhibit absolutely NONE. Make excuses. Point fingers. Problem is, none of it adds up. Romney and the rest of the GOP have no one to blame for their demise and consecutive losses to this unqualified, unprepared POS but themselves. They are absolute failures when it comes to framing and communicating their message. You really think words like the ones above resonate well with folks? Better than a civil conversation on why GOP policy would help all people? Reagan destroyed the left in the 80's. He did so because he had a message that garnered him the support of a diverse center and right. Everyone - staunch social conservatives, evangelicals, Libertarians, liberal Republicans, and even conservative Democrats... all joined in unity behind him. That message doesn't remotely resemble anything we've seen in recent years from the GOP. He took the time to educate people. He sold the GOP brand. Masterfully. Those people are still sitting out there waiting for someone to unite them, so that we can get back to some sort of reasonable legislation and leadership. Problem is, a small portion of that large group arrogantly convinced themselves that Reagan had that success because back then, everyone thought exactly like them, top to bottom. Instead of acknowledging that unity was forged by a candidate with an honest, consistent message that didn't alienate large blocks of voters, you stubbornly believe it was because everyone was like you. And now those folks believe that the GOP's failure is because the rest of us stopped thinking like them. Everyone center to right has to think like them, or they aren't really center or right. In fact, they're "pukes". If you don't shout the message that half the country are leaches (like Reagan never did), then you're the problem. That kind of thinking sounds like an excellent strategy in uniting us once again around some important basic policy concepts ![]() Keep on keepin' on, old man. No one is going to change your mind. But we'll all keep laughing. |

I like how you lambast what’s his name for name calling and then follow that up by calling the President names. Classy. IMHO: President Reagan started the movement to get rid of the upper tax brackets. In return these folks could not hoard excessive amounts of cash or they’d get fined. The thinking was society would benefit more from “people” spending money than from the government spending the money. Well times have changed and the folks making the most money have now hoarded away their cash in foreign accounts and have thus avoided the hoarding fines. They see small demand and would rather just sit out the slow economy. So nobody is “spending the money” not the government and not the "job creators". The cash is basically pooled at the top and this causing lots of problems. We need to change the rules force the fortune 500 to either re-invest their cash or get fined. A giant jobs bill is another option to create demand and thus get the fortune 500 to spend but it’d never get through the house. Oh, BTW ...Trickle-down economic theory is dead. The wealthy have plugged all of the leaks and the trickle is gone. Nobody told Governor Romney that the electorate had figured that out. |

So much butthurt in this thread. You lost. Because you f*cking suck. You suck. You suck. You suck. Once you accept that your side sucked and devise a plan to suck less, you will win. Until then, you will continue to suck. Sent from a phone using an app |

But not surprising coming from a party represented in the house by a guy who cries more than 13 year old girls at the Twilight finale.

"Old man", that's a hot load of crap from one who worships the decrepit morally bankrupt crypto-liberal and really old man known as Ronpaulstiltskin. No granny fetish is more bizarre or laughable than that. What is the message the GOP "should" have, grasshopper? When a successful businessman says "the economy is bad but I can fix it for everyone" it's too uninclusive? Does it need 10 subtitles like a NYC subway map? Blah blah blah "I" "caused" this and that, everyone with half a cerebrum knew the choice in the modern world of 2012 was between a pathetic, terrible, rat-eared radical Commie narcissist known as B. Hussein Hopenchange and the better in every way Romney, a decent man with successful experience in business and government that dwarfs the Teleprompter-In-Chief. So sorry, it's not my fault know-nothing pukes young and old alike made and still make excuses not to like Romney. By the time the (D)generates got through lying about Romney to the gullible among us, Romney not only was responsible for animal cruelty and human deaths, he was the singular incarnation of the (D)-aligned Wall St. speculators who caused the collapse. Romney had a dog on his car roof, allegedly -- bad; B. Hussein ate a dog for lunch, for real --good. As someone who actually lived in the Reagan years and voted for him wilfully instead of just reading about the 80s through the lib prism of wacademia revisionist history, I can state unequivocably that Reagan did not concern himself with voting blocs or identity politics, he didnt have to recalibrate his messages for anyone, which btw took years to be accepted and didnt just garner appeal upon delivery. Romney's primary message was, just like Reagan, "we're in a terrible economic bind and I'll fix it". You overstate Reagan's appeal to the left, to most of that crew, Reagan wasn't any more likable than Romney, he was an doddering old man who despite having a political career was nothing more than a B-movie actor reading off a script. It's often said the perfect is the enemy of the good. People looking for another Reagan (without the pro-America, pro-military or pro-religion stances of course ) are running a fool's errand, he was a political giant that comes along once every 1/2 century or so and took years to emerge. Why should we all have to suffer another 0 (or the next (D)ope du jour) reign of error because Romney didn't speak in 0-like platitudes? (It's a shame today about all the polyamorous freaks leeches thieves and callow unaccomplished cant-make-it-without-a-handout yoots among us that for the GOP to gain their vote they must do like (D) and promise not just a chicken in every pot but a Balkanized menu of halal chicken, arroz con pollo, kung pao chicken, union chicken, chicken unions, and pot. ) As for adding things up, I count at least 1 million lazy pukes who voted for a freak who campaigned on nothing more substantive than to "waste your vote on me" and more regrettably a few million more prejudiced SoCon dopes (who up to now I always supported as principled people) who decided that not voting at all was better than voting for the "cultist"..the margin of Romney defeat right thar. So if you are in either of those camps kindly take some damn responsibility for your own stupid, lousy vote that re-enabled 0 instead of crying about how I think about things. Every depradation that we've collectively had in the last 4 years or is coming up is squarely on you, not me. Only a real chucklehead would try and laugh that off. Reagan unlike both Romney and Obama had a few key consepts that he didn't calibrate. His apeal wasn't to the left at all but he took a large number of blue collar Democrats who were willing to make the move because he didn't actively talk to them like they were trying to steal your lunch. Reagan wasn't a hater and the Republican party ran a race of outright hatred toward the President. It's not good enough to gain middle class labor votes. Reagan never took the bait, Romney did and he was destroyed in the last election. Your hatred toward the opposition is palpable. It's simply not a way to win a national election with a fairly evenly divided electorate. Last edited by Winstonbiggs; 01-15-2013 at 12:31 PM. |

In my mind, the current GOP is an unelectable entity full of hatred, negativity, and divisiveness. They act like a bunch of children, more interested in conflict than effective governing. They need to stop catering to their fringes, appeal to a wider base, and raise the level of intellectual discourse. The party is a shell of its former self. |

Perhaps the country should go bankrupt pandering to the lazy and indigent? Hey I'm fine. I will always have more than I can posssibly spend. And my family is protected for at least two generations. Prior planning prevents p*s poor performance. BUT, everyone else is screwed who allows the takers to continue to take. See Greece, Portugal, italy, Spain, Ireland et al. The job creators here will be moving jobs where they can make money. Basic stuff. |
