While we're on that subject, I've been looking at Tanny's/Rex's drafts.
I would say that they are about 60/40 positive. Good picks: Jeremy Kerley Joe McKnight (All-Pro last year) Muhammed Wilkerson Quinton Coples (Still young, but criticisms were blown away) Average: Stephen Hill Bilai Powell Shonn Greene Matt Slauson Kyle Wilson Bad: Mark Sanchez Vlad Ducasse The other picks are all either still in judgment or are relative to their draft position. I will say this though. The one thing Rex has not drafted yet has been a player that makes an immediate impact. This might be his raft to do so. Last edited by Eckesg1; 01-14-2013 at 07:08 PM. |

If Sanchez during his four years, played like Russell Wilson played this year, then we're in the playoffs all four years - probably go to the super bowl at least once. |

But in Goodell's NFL, the league is divided by the have's and have not's. If you don't have a QB, you better be elite everywhere else. (Like we were in 2009.) |

THAT is the problem...... Total picks around 20 to 24 and we have 4 good picks. Thats a big piece to why we are where we are.... Also, your last sentence is CMARTS point. No development of these players. |

I just mean that a lot of his picks have been average. The only two stinkers are Sanchez (which at the time, I still contend was the right pick, given the options), and Ducasse, which is more Tanny's pick because the affiliation with UMass. Connor was not a bad pick. He was a 5th round pick. |

All-Pro simply based on KR's. You don't draft a guy in the 4th just to return KO's. He's failed miserably as the 3rd down back he was envisioned to be. |

McKnight is not in the same league. Hester has been to 3 Pro Bowls and a 4 time All-Pro. I'd be willing to bet McKnight doesn't see a Pro Bowl or get another All-Pro. McKnight was drafted to be a 3rd down back to replace Leon. I don't see how anyone can say he was a "good" draft pick. If you insist, then we are definitely not in agreement. |

Not only is he a former pro scouting director but he currently works as an agent. So he is much more likely to be speaking with possible candidates than any of these jerks in the media who tweet any bullcrap to try and get attention and keep relevant. And any candidate that would be so unprofessional as to leak such information, if it were true, would not be a candidate for anything for very long. This is obviously fabricated info on the part of Jay Glazer wanting to maintain his 'insider' status and borders or libel if you ask me.
