Dink and dunk doesn't work

The memory of Peyton Manning throwing across his body will long play in the minds of Broncos fans, but a wobbly third-down pass to Brandon Stokley in OT hinted at a theme. That throw, combined with an utter lack of vertical passing from Denver, created a lot of talk centered around whether Manning's arm strength was a problem in the bitter cold. Steve Wyche of NFL.com relayed from one Ravens source that safety Ed Reed played in the deep center field the entire game. The Ravens were daring Manning to go deep, but he didn't test them. Ravens cornerback Corey Graham, who picked off Manning twice, said Manning's patience to dink and dunk gave the Ravens confidence.

Marty ball doesn't work it never did. Nor does college WC options. We need to go back to a standard balanced pro style East coast O. More rhythm less lets just keep doing this until it works.

The Pats are running the present day version of the dink and dunk. Brady has a 7.6 ypa (which is pretty much average in the league). Only 8 40+ yard completions (which ws average to below in the league). Only Gronk averages more than 12.5 yards per catch, everyone else is below (which is not even top 50 in the league). It's a quick hitting, up tempo dink and dunk

an accurate qb can run most any system, except if you've got a chaddy arm.

If Reed is playing deep center field why would manning go deep, That premise does not make any sense. You take what the defense give you. If Reed is 15 yds from the LOS you toss it 10 yards. If he played in the box and Manning went to a short game, then the article would make sense.
