Winning QBs play to their strengths
Flacco played to his. His long passes won the game. Marty Ice played to his-the skill to get down the field at the end of the game and he won. Fox should have trusted in Peyton's elite QB ability to get the job done in a pressure situation. Two short catch and run passes would have gotten the needed yards for a FG. Fifty yards in 30 seconds with two time outs should be a piece of cake for Peyton.
Heck even Tebow in last years playoff completed a short pass and run for a TD to beat the Steelers. Who on the Broncos grew a pair and called that play. Fox must have OKed that. Fox blew it in this game. Last edited by Stillafan; 01-15-2013 at 09:48 PM. |

Not to mention the following season Rex turned basically the same personel on defense from middle of the pack to top 3. Eric Mangini sucked in NY. Sucked in Cleveland and now sucks on ESPN.
