I'm listening to Jam Hardballz' presser and he sounds like he's tweaking. It's like every question blows his mind.

Probably means that we are actually close to signing someone. You throw out guesses weeks before the signing you can pass it off as the team changed their mind when you are wrong. You throw out a guess right before something else happens you just show that you have no sources and you are a hack.

For what it's worth, I'm told #Jets GM rarely, if ever goes to East/West shrine game. Regular contingent of team scouts on hand to do evals. |

It's inevitable. Fans have been having the same conversation here daily, all reactionary to the tweets of a bunch of barely-informed "media" members. When we have a GM finally, there may be withdrawal from the outrage surrounding these tweets. |

#Jets GM update: Angelo fading. Barring a curve ball, it looks like Idzik (2nd interview today), Khan and Cohen. My money is on Idzik. |

This would be a coup, and on paper the best organizational thing the Jets have done in a long, long while.

My preference at this point is for either Idzik or Sundquist. Along with Khan I think this is a good short-list for the Jets.
And remember, it doesn't matter whether you interview 3 guys, 10 or 20. It doesn't matter if one or two "dropped out" or withdrew their names. We are only going to hire ONE General Manager. Finding a good, qualified guy who wants to be here is the goal. The more this goes on the more I actually like and respect the process the Jets are following. |

I agree, it is a good short list.... But what has Sundquist done that makes you want him for the job? Didn't Shanahan call the shots while they were in Denver together?

Khan and Sundquist are both quality candidates and I would be ok with them, but Idzik is my preferred option. |
