I may be just guessing, but one of the issues with Sundquist might be the appearance of being an open book. We writes blogs, published author, and he has written at least two blogs about the Jets handling of Sanchez and their cap strategies.

Not saying he was wrong for any of it, but if this guy likes to talk, the NY media will be all over him. Just maybe, when It was discussed that Woody didn't want a strong personality, it was just not a guy that will be an open book. The last thing the Jets need is this guy going all "Hard Knocks" and telling the world how we are running things now

Or it could be that Idzim and Khan are just better candidates.
