Notre Dame claims it was a hoax perpetrated on Te'o. So... they are claiming he never met or talked on the phone to the love of his life. That is going to be disproved so easily by finding a quote of him saying something about talking to or hanging out with her. Beside that point he said "follow (the girl's sister)! she's new to twitter and is one of the realist people i know!"

I mean... just come clean at this point. There is no escaping the truth.

2010-2011: Te'o and Kekua are friends. "She was gifted in music, multi-lingual, had dreams grounded in reality and the talent to catch up to them" (South Bend Tribune). "They started out as just friends," Te'o's father, Brian, told the Tribune in October 2012. "Every once in a while, she would travel to Hawaii, and that happened to be the time Manti was home, so he would meet with her there."
