Perhaps, but do you want another submissive GM?

I know someone who is not impressed by all of this snubbing...

He'd have final say with the Jets. How is that submissive?

Same on Idzik.

But at least Sundquist has personnel/scouting/coaching experience unlike Kahn. So although I really like and want Idzik I can live with Sundquist better than Kahn.

If its really down to Idzik and Sundquist I expect Shefter to break the news since he's from Denver, used to cover the Broncos and most likely tight with Sundquist.

If he was willing to forfeit final say to Shanny, I am scared he may do the same for Rex.

Bet it ends up being Sundquist, someone who will cowtow to Rex.

Do we really need another GM in NY named Omar?

How do we really know that he bowed to Shanny? All speculation right?

Speculation, but it is odd he was the one left go by the Broncos when they finished 7-9, versus Shanny who got another season.

Are you honestly and in good conscious comparing Shannahan a multiple SB winning HC to Rex Ryan?

Rex has yet to run a total team as a HC.

To compare the two is specious at best!!!

Good Grief!!!!!

IMO I am very happy with either of the final candidates. I am also thrilled that its not Angelo or Cohen. Anyone else that disagrees just wants to ***** and moan because they have nothing better to do.

I wouldn't mind either really speaking, but I think the majority of us want Idzik.

In what way would Sundquist "cowtow" to Rex?

We know Rex's personnel imput sucks. He scouts for FBs in the 4th round for crying out loud.

We have to doubt that if there is any new GM other than Cohen that they would be making informed decisions not relying on Rex like Tanny did.
