One of the best posters on here, IMO.

I haven't been posting, but I've lurked the entire season.

John with that knowledge.

Once you peel back the annoying layer, I'm actually an ok little feller.

Decade or not, it's still EXPERIENCE and SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE at that.

I have no problem with him being hired.

I have a problem with people choosing to IGNORE everything else he's done in his career and focusing on the Negatives JUST to continue to feed into the NEGATIVE-machine toward the Jets.

Throw in the fact the team sucks, and the typical insufferable posters ruining the place, and there you go.

I do miss some of the chats. This place is still the most interesting.
I was wondering where you have been. Nice to have you around at whatever little capacity, but some of the posters here really do suck.

After 1 page of good stuff, these threads start to suck. 4 pages of garbage. Waste of time.

First thing, Idzik would do is REMIND people that he was a player-personnel guy(a pretty successful one) before.

To Manish he would say : "Go read my Bio"

And what are you? Someone who doesn't want to accept the truth.

Fact is, its been 9 DAMNED YEARS since this guy was a significant part of the pro player personnel department. In fact, he was in the Tampa Bay Bucs personnel department from 1993-2004 and then lateraled into an operations role in which he has served from 2004-2013.

Those are the facts. He might be a great player-picker. Who knows. But in reading his bio, he is a "C" level candidate, another one of those "I can fix him" types that his new boss, Rex Ryan, loves so much.

I'm good and finally in peace. My wife and I are reconciling and fixing our marriage. Had to do a bit of soul searching as I had alot of blame and really put little to no effort, and my two boys don't look as anxious anymore without that negative tension around the house.

I really wanted Gamble, but guess it didn't work out. Very optimistic with Idzik, like his resume and helped turned around 3 franchises. To me a good leader doesn't work alone and hopefully brings some good people with him here.

Evaluation of player talent is a shared responsibility between Schneider, Carroll and Idzik. Its been that way since Carroll came to town followed by Schneider.

The red zone INTs this year killed me more than anything.

Can Idzik help cut down on those?
