not only this, but he seems like someone who will actually listen to the scouts when they say something random like 'you should really draft russell wilson'. and since he's seen first hand how you can find a qb in the middle rounds, i'm encouraged he may take his shots there.

I truly believe this will be a great hire. Whever Idzik has gone, he has found success. He is a master of the cap, but also has good expirence in personnel as well. Way to go K/F and Woody!

Idzik is risky. No previous GM experience. Great salary-cap guy, lacks experience in scouting, personnel. Won the interviews, targeted yest.

That's a dumb comment. I'd guess less than 5 current GM's had GM experience before being hired.
