Poll: Mornhinweg, Yay or Nay?

Title says it all. What do you guys think. Is Mornhinweg a good hire? Will he help turn around our anemic offense?

I think we ought to give the guy time to settle in and call a play as a Jets OC before we get ready to dump on the guy. If the new GM makes a few slick moves and the OC develops a great chemisrty with our QB, whoever he may be, the sky is the limit.

Simple yes or no, por favor.

I just want to gauge where the forum is at. I think more people are going to vote Yes than expected.

Yay, definitely.

Ensures the end of Sanchez, brings a more aggressive approach to the offense, excellent playcaller that routinely fields Top 10 offenses, etc.

What's not to like?

Fine. No.

I don't see him magically getting Sanchez to realize that he's NOT supposed to turn the ball over at every opportunity. Don't see how the offense can improve when the guy running it on the field is turnover prone.

A QB guy, consistently coached top 10 offenses. Good at developing QBs.

Is there any coach in the entire league you see doing this?

Point taken.

I should probably say that it's not Mornhinweg that I'm doubting; it's Sanchez. I'm jaded.

Mornhinweg certainly wasn't my first choice. But, in his defense, his offenses have been consistently in the top 10. So I'll give him a chance.

The Morning Man is fine---the issue is, what kind of talent is he given to work with.? Bill Walsh couldn't have done much with the offensive personal we put on the field this year.

I'm with you. As long as Sanchez is he QB this team has no shot.

Hopefully with the new GM we will soon beginto see how be wants to address the QB situation.

But morningwhig has proved, with talent, he can put together a quality offense. In today's league that's all you can ask.

Some guys can't succeed even with talent.

Very happy. MM worked for some winning organizations, and was part of some very good Offenses.

I'm interested to see how he can help Sanchez.

True. I saw a tweet that said in his 7 years in Philly, he's never had an offense that wasn't in the Top 15. That's good news, lol.

The Eagles were 29th in points and 30th in turnovers last year. We managed to find the guy running an offense as bad as ours.
