In order to make another run, we would've had to have made A Superbowl run in the past.

With the west coast offense coming I can breathe a sigh of relief knowing my worst nightmare can no longer come to fruition. The big fear was we would continue winning with a piss poor QB who completes 55% 6.5avg and sub 80 rating and be stuck with that QB for the next decade. If our defense and running game held to what it was doing before we would have been a perennial wild card team stuck with an atrocious QB for a long ass time. Never getting rid of him cause we could hide him in the ground and pound offense.

The west coast offense is predicated on the QB playing well. It would be almost impossible to win games regularly with the way Sanchez played in his first 2 years when he failed to even cack an 80 rating. So unless Sanchez undergoes a huge transformation in one offseason we can all say goodbye to the Sanchise.

Realistically ...

2013 : 4-12 (Rex and Mark are jettisoned, but we have many young players with potential due to good draft)
2014 : 9-7 (Rookie QB ... But young team with new QB and New HC are looking good)
2015 : 11-5 (Div Champs ... Brady finally start to lose steam.)
2016 : 10-6 (Div Champs ... Brady retires at end of season)

There's NO reason to delay the process. Start Geno Smith.

Thank you.

Mark Sanchez will be an ex-Jet June 1.

They will have to use heavy shock therapy in every practice to fix Mark

Sanchez must be shocked (taser?) after:
looking at one receiver for 2-3 seconds
holding the ball for 5 seconds (warning at 4 seconds)
thinking about how cool it would be to complete a pass into triple coverage
attempting passes while falling down or getting sacked
running or scrambling while holding the ball in one hand
double pump and throw in same direction "the beacon"
running towards the behind of a lineman "the butt fumble"

Could be comeback player of the year but after review I am not sure...

The only way Sanchez sniffs the SB is holding a clipboard while a real QB takes the field

Sanchez would check down a wide open receiver and take a sack in any game needed to get near a SB. HE SUCKS.

Bookmark this. Remember the NFL is fixed thread from about a month ago? The stars are aligned:
  • 45th anniversery of the Jets last SB
  • First SB in NY\NJ and in an uncovered stadium
  • Sanchez and the Jets become the comeback heros of the the decade
  • I'm stuck at home while Brittany rubs her nasties all over my $30k seats.
If God is perfect, he must have the perfect sense of humor, and he sets up moments like this just to fck with me.

Sanchez's main problems with his performance are related to his confidence and defeatist attitude. True champions don't have those traits, especially the latter.
