I would love to draft one of these 6'6" automatic mismatches but we have so many needs that I think we should just go BPA in every round. If he is available when we draft in the 2nd, Eifert will be BPA.

What round did the Pats draft The Gronk. What round did the Pats draft Hernandez. I am not oposed to drafting a TE as long as it's not in the 1st or 2nd round.

1st and 2nd round picks should be used for premium positions in every single draft. Even if you already have a player at that position. Wanna know how the Pats have managed to remain atop the AFC dispite some of the worst drafts in memory.

Well, they have Brady.

Seriously, Brady don't block for Brady. Brady don't throw to brady. Brady don't don't defend the run . Brady don't play special teams.

The Patriots draft terrible, but they draft smart. Just because u have a 1st round pick doesn't mean u shound draft a player in the 1st round. If no player at a premium position is available in the 1st round where u are scheduled to pick, trade the pick and add more picks even if it's into the next year.

OK, so now he runs 4.5s, is that so bad for a developing TE.

So what? Even if the injury cost him some speed, it doesn't mean he hasn't regained most or all of that speed. And even if he's lost speed since the combine, you're still nuts for arguing that Hernandez and Pettigrew are faster than him. What, he went from being a 4.4 guy to a 4.8 guy? Ridiculous. If he's a 4.5 guy now, he's still faster than most of the guys you mentioned.

And he's got that type of speed on the field. He's a mismatch if the Jets ever get a competent QB.

No. Cumby is a terrible blocker and an average receiving Tight End. Resign Keller to a 1 year incentive deal please.
