Idzik is a business guy. Never picked a player in his life.

No other NFL team wanted Idzik, interviewed him, or had him on their radar.

Jets interview process included no football men. Woody, Korn/Ferry, Glat. This is a business hire not a football hire.

Jets will not change Tannenbaums draft staff.

Idzik told he makes the Rex Ryan decision next season, has authority to fire him.

we all know this is only a business venture for woody.

this sets up the ineviteable failure and the sale of the team to the la based firm.

psls season tickets will be worthless when the jets pull an art modell and move this team to la.

amazing you only quote the possible negatives that Francesa stated!!...he went on for 5 minutes talking about the positives of the hire..but lets not talk about that!!!???...and they have in essence changed tannys scouting staff they got rid of tanny who if your honest(and your not) francesa stated Tanny did everything rex wanted!!! under mangini/tanny regime jets were above avg to good drafting team...so by removing rex from the process you will probably BASED ON FACTS AND PAST RESULTS see an improvement in drafting..

I know many people don't but I tend to trust Fatty's sauces.

1. Fair point but I don't think anyone gets to pick a player unless they are an owner, HC or GM. So take that FWIW.

2. Is this true? Did he interview anywhere else? This would be a legit knock if true. Would make me think K/F went through their rolodex to make sure the Jets got someone.

3. It was reported that Polian sat in on some interviews. Not sure how many b.c he was at the ESPN "Senior Bowl" this past week. Either way it doesn't bother me b.c I have little faith in our "football people" anyways. Could be a good thing that they weren't involved.

4. I am OK with Bradway staying on as a scout. I would be hugely disappointed if we didn't change a lot of the staff. Makes me think Idzik has no relationship with personnel people of his own. Not a good thing.

5. Glad to hear it. Ryan is as good as gone.
