In his three backup seasons, Rodgers improved most in those areas, McCarthy said, to where he now ranks “at the top of all of them.”

In what McCarthy calls his Quarterback School, Rodgers concentrated on tuning his fine motor skills: hand-eye coordination, finger dexterity, mechanics. He also lowered where he held the ball for a smoother, more consistent motion.

I agree it is hard considering where we are coming from but for me it's like going from Schotty to Shades again.

Yeah.. that way he could come here and sprinkle some of that magic QB dust that he used on Rodgers to get Sanchez to play better

While it's true that Rodgers sat the bench while Favre started for a few years, once he got onto the field he's played pretty well since day 1.

Why? Because some no name from Green Bay is currently a coach on the staff with the best Quarterback in football? But likely was not even on the staff, let alone had a hand in developing him 5 years ago?

I might have reservations if he was named OC. But I think he can help Sanchez as a QC. It's not like we're automatically going wildcat.

Not just GB. Any team really. My point was that I would prefer to have an up-and-comer.
