I think that is different as that belongs to a sister site.

Ultimately Sooth wants what is best for him and attracts the most posters. A happy poster makes Sooth happy in the pocket (money). Therefore, feedback on what makes us happy might be helpful.

My input in the suggestion box is to allow 2 OT threads by posters in good standing and 18 years of age to the Landing Strip.
The rules would be allow mods to approve or reject OT threads as they see fit.

I certainly hope not. I say that for the following reasons:

• The level of discussion regarding football in general, and the Jets in particular, on the Landing Strip has a direct correlation to the performance of the Jets. As of late, that isn't a good thing.
  
• The divisiveness of posters regarding allegiances to players/personnel. It doesn't border, it is on the same level as politics. There are about 12 regulars on the Strip whose convictions and posting styles are completely ill-suited for any level of civil discourse.
  
• Quite frankly, the football IQ on the Landing Strip isn't particularly high.
  
• Quite frankly, nor is the sense of humor and/or ability to pick up on sarcasm.
  
• In direct contrast, the level of discussion on ANYTHING in the Hanger/Hampur rarely elevates beyond that of junior year of high school. POSSIBLY.
  
• Occasionally, denizens of the Hampur will make their way over to the Landing Strip during times of strife in attempt to bring a bit if levity into a heated argument, only to be met with apathy/disdain.
