If he has his head on straight, he may just surprise some people. I remember reading how he had the most impressive arm in camp.

With a clean slate and new OC perhaps he will impress in training camp and get a shot. Not saying I think he would win the job but at this point everyone needs to be looked at objectively and leave all pre conceived notions at the door.

We have to stop "dismissing" guys like this and give them a chance. Maybe we get lucky for a change.

My point exactly, the Jets can't take anything for granted at QB this year, they need to look at everybody.....

Mark Harrington is not the future of this team. He's shot. Done. Kaput.

The sooner we get him off the team and move on, the better off we will all be.

Any player can be developed and improved. The point is you want to start with something that has a lot of potential. If you start with a Cam Newton, RG III, Andrew Luck, Matt Stafford, you don't have to do brain surgery to get to the SB. Just give him some weapons.

I remember Bart Scott talking this kid up during training camp last pre-season.

Anybody think Matt Simms has a shot to unseat Mark Sanchez?

As bad as Sanchez has been, I wouldn't bet against Simms.
I will say that at training camp this year, Sims had the best release of all four QBs. The ball flew off his hand with some real zip.

Not saying he was the best option or anything ... Just saying he showed a lot of potential.
