I like Taylor, Ball and Lacy. Not so much Bell who looks like Shonn Greene version 2.0

Rex Burkhead, pretty versatile 3 down back - can run, catch and block.
I think he could be a nice late round or even FA surprise for some team. |

I like Lacy the best but his stock is rising by the minute. Don't think he gets out of the second round and we can't afford to take a RB that early. I would love to get Taylor or Ball in the 3rd or 4th and then take Lattimore in the 6th. He seems to be healing up nicely. http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft2013/sto...dy-2013-season

Even if he can come back your not talking a power RB. He has always been more fineness then power. He wasn't fast to begin with and now will be even slower. At 4.62 after 1 surgery you have to figure he is the slowest RB in this draft. He will only take a beating in the league and is already beaten up bad. He tore 3 of his 4 ligaments and this is the 2nd year in a row he has had to has knee surgery. He will not be working out prior to the draft and you have no idea if he can even still play. Any GM looking at him still would be hard pressed to give more then a 5th IMO. I like the guy but I think the only reason he is leaving college right now is to get paid before people find out he is done. One year even at league min is more then most people make in ten years.

Jamison could be a late steal. Built like Rice and hits the line with authority. Effective in passing game too.

I like the RB from Arkansas as long as someone can get him to learn how to hold onto the ball.

Tavares King - WR/Georgia/ I forgot him. He looks like a legit nfl WR.. Victor Cruz type sleeper.

there is more quality running backs than wideouts this year.
so i can see the jets dipping twice at running back in the mid and late rounds. but there is about 13 solid wideouts i like in the draft. Cordarrelle Patterson WR 2 Tennessee Jr 6-3 205 DeAndre Hopkins WR 3 Clemson Jr 6-1 200 Tavon Austin WR 4 West Virginia Sr 5-09 175 Robert Woods WR 5 Southern California Jr 6-1 190 Terrance Williams WR 6 Baylor rSr 6-2 201 Justin Hunter WR 7 Tennessee Jr 6-4 200 Da'Rick Rogers WR 8 Tennessee Tech Jr 6-3 206 Quinton Patton WR 10 Louisiana Tech rSr 6-0 202 Cobi Hamilton WR 11 Arkansas Sr 6-2 199 Stedman Bailey WR 12 West Virginia rJr 5-10 195 Kenny Stills WR 13 Oklahoma Jr 6-0 190 Ryan Swope WR 14 Texas A&M rSr 6-0 204 Aaron Dobson WR 15 Marshall Sr 6-3 203 |

love him. he's exactly what the jets need. sanchez was more effective when he dumped off to LT a lot. he missed him more than anyone, including keller. perfect for wco.

I was hoping someone would mention him.
He's probably going 5th or 6th round due to injuries, but I think he could be just as good as some of the more highly touted backs. Another guy I like at RB is Zach Line out of SMU. Can catch the ball out of the backfield and beat people up as a blocker. I haven't posted here in a while, but I like the new draft board. Keeps some of the hysteria from the Strip at bay. Good to be back

And if they can add a guy like this in the 6th rond or so, it's just too easy of a decision to make. |

He recovered spectacularly from a pretty severe back injury. There's nothing to suggest he won't bounce back from his ACL. My only fear is that the Jets only take 1 back in the draft. The FO seem to have a hard on for Stepfan Taylor so its hard to say.

Lmao at people thinking Ball is the best RB prospect in the draft .. Most scouts From what i seen do not like him at all. Does not think he projects well to the NFL.
http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles...ut-montee-ball Anyway IMO Franklin from UCLA is a stud . Him,Benard from UNC ,Taylor Stanford would be great picks to be our RB. I would take a flyer on lattimore any time after rd four give him the yr to heal could pay off big . Last edited by Scoop24; 01-26-2013 at 06:23 PM. |

Monte Ball reminds me of Curtis Martin. Great runner. Not gonna break the huge one too often.
