Even here on LI...I heard a boom last night in my yard, sounded like someone hit my sliders with an ice ball. Looked around, didnt see anything.

This morning, I look out and there was a 12 pack of DIet Pepsi we had left out there since Xmas.....one of the cans had literally exploded. Ripped down the side, shredded.



The last time I remember it being this cold was the Bengals game at the Meadowlands where all of our beers froze.

i heard some kind of yelling in the yard the other night while i was in bed. i
turned to my wife who was no longer in bed. she was in the yard yelling at flying squirrels who were trying to chew their way out of the cold.

of course she puts a dozen peanuts on the porch for them every night. they need some kind of compensation for destroying our house.
