I don't understand this "stand up to Rex" mentality....I would much rather have my general manager and coach compliment each other and work well together...people make it sound that Rex doesn't know football.

I'm excited. I'm getting a good feeling from this guy, and while I know it won't be quick, I think he is going to bring some positive change to this organization.

agree. I think too many here have seen too many movies about the big, brash guy in high school bullying everyone around a la Biff to George McFly. Either they've seen too many movies or it actually happened to them!

You dont have to stick your chest out in every situation. You cant tell from this press conference if he is "meek" when it comes to important decisions

You have to be on the same page as the coach but you also MUST stand up to the coach and make some moves he isn't in favor of.

One thing I think I am drawing from this Presser so far, is the noise that will be coming out of the Jets organization is going to be A LOT less under Idzik.
