And to think I was about to ask PK about replacing an older toilet with one of them new hipster power flush toilets that use water and air pressure to blow the shlt right down the pipe.

Power assist is a waste (no pun). I bought Toto 1.6 toilets and they are amazing. The flushing system gives you all the "voomph" of power assist without the power. The Toto toilets were one of the best products I ever purchased.

The "siphon jet" flushing system will amaze you. Everything goes down in a flash of power. Go check it out.

I must look into this. I feel let down by the poor evacuation in the American Standards. Must I instinctively reach for the brush after every bowl movement? I dont eat that much cheeses.

My wife and I both b1tch about that American Standard toilet. It has one-half the power and efficiency of the Toto.

No joke, after hearing it flush, you would swear that the Toto toilet is a pressure assist, and it's not. I could not recommend it any higher. In about six years, we've never had a backup or needed to plunge it.
