After I saw that George Harrison documentary on HBO a few months ago I started playing the hell out of his solo stuff. Definitely my favorite of the Beatles.

Not a song I remember from my childhood particularly, but I am currently obsessed with the drums on this track and have been listening to it repeatedly.

I can hear why. Great rollicking drive. Don't know anything about David Teegarden, the drummer on that classic track.

Big Foreigner fan. Original Bass Player, Ed Gagliardi lived next door to my high school best friend. Gagliardi graduated from my high school.

he literally answered an ad in the village voice for bass player wanted.. thats how he got the gig.

I met him once after the 1st album at his parents house in Brentwood NY. Not sure what happened but after 2 albums they replaced him.

I saw them on their maiden tour with Gagliardi on bass (and Ian McDonald on sax, if you can believe it). Very tight band who did not go over that night at SUNY Potsdam. I remember Lou Gramm screaming, "Wake up. Potsdam!!" to no avail.

Think I was the only person in the audience who had their debut record, which is a classic, BTW.

Agreed. I like the band. Blue Morning Blue day is one of my favorites.

I met Ian McDonald (quick intro, nothing more) in Hammerheads in West Islip, NY. He was there watching Rat Race Choir.

Funny how bands made the college tour. I saw Foreigner that tour at Stony Brook. I was in high school.
