96% of Americans know the Pasts* Cheated.
99.9999% of them being outside of New England.
The rest are "analysts" and obnoxious Jets fans who think everyone is "just jealous"

Exactly. I'm registered Republican And I disagree with them on a lot of things like immigration, civil liberties, war..

Not believing and trying to force others to believe your non-belief, how ironic.
There is nothing worse than someone who holds the group responsible for the actions of the individual.

Not all atheists go around burning Bibles and such. Just like not all Christians go around shouting "Sinner!" in others faces.

Nice little microcosm for the dangers of religion. A Pastor stiffed a server and wrote on the receipt "I give God 10%, why do you get 18?"
This was a small, somewhat humorous example but religious people will use god and faith to justify anything, ANYTHING...including the killing of other people...

If you've never had the pleasure, drive across the country sometime. By the time you get home you'll probaly think the number should be higher. Much of this country isn't all that bright. Kinda makes you feel real damn smart too.

Also I think you'll find a decent correlation between the level of intelligence you come across and if the state is red or blue.

An omnipotent entity that decided to create a group of beings that must routinely tell it how awesome it is or suffer eternal damnation?

Huh? I don't know...kind of sounds like a dick to me.

I can accept the possibility of their being a creator of all that we know (and don't know). I cannot accept that such an entity would care what you, I, or anyone else does at all.

The God of the Abrahamic religions cares entirely too much about the affairs of people. That "God" is so transparently human, I don't know how more people don't realize it's made up. This "God" experiences something as petty as anger? Really? Really?

When my mom married my stepfather, who is Catholic, we both took classes to prepare to receive the Eucharist and Confirmation. I was 12 at the time and it was immediately apparent that no one had the answers to the questions I had.

hence the reason I said, an Atheist, in reference to the individual.

I didn't say there's nothing worse than Atheists.

Scientists can't make something live. Not even simple cells. When you die that life goes somewhere. The doctors can fix you and still not be able to bring you back to life. So when they figure out what that life force is I'll stop believing in anything. Until then I'm dying to find out what happens to your soul. All I can say is that no one knows, because there's only one way to find out. All they can do is make stuff up to explain it. If there's a God I think he got bored with his little science project long ago. May have even forgotten all about us. You know, on to bigger and better things.

Except you're still generalizing because you're saying "there's nothing worse than an Atheist" without adding the individual traits on. So, you're saying there's nothing worse than an Atheist PERIOD. Later on, you talked about "forcing beliefs on others" as though it was something all Atheists do.

What you SHOULD have said was, "There's nothing worse than an Atheist who forces their beliefs on someone".
