Dan Maringless knocked up a CBS employee, paid her to move away

Quote:
Marino agreed to pay Savattere millions to care for Chloe, sources say, and she moved to Texas as part of the deal. It’s not clear exactly how much Marino paid. But after getting the dough, Savattere apparently started living large. She soon returned to New York from the Lone Star State, splitting her time between the Upper West Side and the Hamptons, where she became a fixture on the social scene. She was even snapped by society photographers such as Patrick McMullan and New York Social Diary.

This is where there needs to be limits on the press. Who needs to know this? Why embarrass his wife and kids like this. He messed up, did the right thing and was able to keep his home life intact. Way to recover from a bad decision. I certainly would not want every bad decision I have ever made published.

Except if it's about Belichik allegedly cheating on his wife, or Brady having a baby out of wedlock after he broke up with an actress. Then it's all fair game.

I actually DO agree with those who say this is nobody's business. But let's not make the guy out to be a saint claiming "he did the right thing". He paid her hush money so she'd move away and no one would find out. Now it's out. Doesn't make him a "good guy" by any measure.

All athletes volunteer for this when they sign up to play professional sports and even big time collegiate sports (Mante Teo). They could have chosen to work in construction if they wanted their secrets to remain private.

Dan Marino fathered a child with a CBS employee in 2005

Mike Foss, USA TODAY Sports9:47a.m. EST January 31, 2013

NFL Hall of Fame quarterback and current CBS analyst Dan Marino fathered a child out of wedlock with another CBS employee in 2005.

The New York Post reported that Marino had an affair with former CBS Sports production assistant Donna Savattere, and the two had a daughter, Chloe, in June 2005.

"This is a personal and private matter. I take full responsibility both personally and financially for my actions now as I did then," Marino said in a statement. "We mutually agreed to keep our arrangement private to protect all parties involved."

Marino has been married for 28 years to his wife, Claire, with whom he has four sons and two adopted daughters.

"My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years and have six children together," Marino said. "And we continue to be a strong and loving family."

After the birth of Chloe, the Post reports Marino "agreed to pay millions" and Savattere moved from New York to Texas to keep their relationship and child a secret.

Marino has been a member of CBS' The NFL Today pregame show since 2003, and will be part of the CBS Super Bowl telecast Sunday, which starts at 2 p.m. ET ahead of the game's 6:30 p.m. kickoff.
He's got nothing on Cromartie or Ray lewis but he now is on par with Brady so to speak.

Im not sure you understand what "on par" means.

Stick to numbers Murray.

A single Tom Brady stuck his pee-pee in a single gal...thats what single guys are suppossed to do. Except Southside.

A married Dan Marion boinked another woman. Thanks just wrong.

At least he paid her. What the Post should do is publish all those that haven't and don't provide support. But we all know that wont happen. And the article states he keeps in touch with his daughter and do meet
