If the search feature of this website didn't suck donkey balls, I would be pointing out the many, many, MANY threads and posts we had here when Bush was President on the issue of "vacation".

If I was more motivated, I would post the assortment of mainstream media articles written during teh Bush Era on the topic of vacation time.

But really, I don't have to. Pretty much everyhere here (I think) will see that claiming Jetswin is racist for raising the issue, Jetswin of all people, is about as laughable a claim as may have ever been made on J.I.

And like Paulie, I think it exposes the real racism here in this discussion, racism used as a weapon, to protect one sides political leaders from any criticism, as cynical and exploitive a use of racism as it comes.

Happily LiL, I don't think you're a racist for using that tactic. I just think it's so ingrained in liberals to see racism behind everything, behind every criticism, that it's just second nature now.

I would like to thank Paulie & Fish for defending me in this thread.

One more thing Fish as usual makes an astute point... the fact that racism is now used as a weapon against their "enemy" conservatives. It's really not common sense anymore it's us vs them in the eyes of libs. Imagine the outrage if a repub president spent 1.6mm in this economy to fly across country for little more than a campaign speech and followed it up with more multi media madness like a photo shoot.

Maybe he'll be in a speedo, it is swimsuit issue season (Matthews and others get tingly again).
