Parcells was a compiler that's why he saddled us with CM.

Parcells. Bill Parcells? The worst thing...in 20 years?

Disagree.

Of course. I did note the position difference. I don't disagree with the choice...just saying that it probably came down to one vs. the other at that point and that the metrics mentioned regarding Sapp (Pro bowls, 1st team All Pros and sacks) all were matched or exceeded by Strahan (I think he had quite a bit more sacks actually). DT vs. DE probably played a part but I imagine the Favre flop had some impact in some voters' minds as well.

No argument there if we had Terrell Davis in 98 we would have made and won the bowl..

Warren Sapp getting in is a joke. Klecko was way better than him. this is a popularity contest.

Here's facts CB.. In 98 he avg 3.5 ypc with 8 td's with Vinny as QB with the best Jet QB stats ever.. With Neil O'Donnell in 97 Murrell had 3.6 and 7 td's on 69 less carries not to mention we didn't have Mawae or Fabini in 97.. Don't start with me CB..

Klecko is the only guy in history to make the pro bowl at 3 different positions on the d line. Sapps claim to fame was being morbidly obese and having a big mouth

I just want to see you bash the only Jet to make the HOF in what seems like half a century....... hehehehhe

Note the RBs I mentioned, cause if anyone says CM was their class I know better. Gayle Sayers was better in his short time then if CM had played six more years....So in many ways you are correct, CM was a compilier. See I am your friend.......

He was 9-7 after 1-15.

He was 12-4 our best record in history.

He was 8-8 after losing his franchise QB in Week 1.

I'm going to Canton in August for the induction, will bring Tailgate Ed with me to cook and clean.

I think all five candidates that got in were deserving.

With that being said, Will Shields should have been in last year and got screwed again this year. This year it came down to Shields vs Allen and Allen has the SB rings that Shields never got. While there is a very good case for Allen as a first ballot hall of famer my feeling is that he should have had to wait in line behind Shields (who should have been in already).
