That play is not only symbolic of the Rex/Sanchez Jets, it is symbolic of our entire franchise history. Can't Wait for the parties involved to be purged so we can make an attempt to move on. Sanchez's follies have become a part of pop culture, as has Rex's buffoonery.

Joe's reaction said it all. It is a real shame. How can a franchise have a relationship like that with it's greatest player?
It was all done in fun. I don't take that stuff personal. Let's see where our new GM takes us.

It was funny...we deserve it. We are a joke, and all of us have been saying it all season long. Why can't we laugh at it?

And Joe has been taking s**t from everyone for speaking honestly about the team he led to our only SB win, and the team he desperately wants to succeed, so... I don't care what anyone says, he deserves the right to react any way he wants. I know the younger guys might disagree, but...tough. 40+ years of watching and investing in this circus gives me the right to that opinion.

That being said, I'm still (oddly enough) excited to see how the next iteration of NY Jets football plays out.

In a few years we'll look back and laugh.

We'll still be a 4-12 team, but we'll laugh.

You know what is really funny? How horrible as this season has been, we still only finished 6-10 and with a few key moves we can be back in the hunt within two years. This season is now in the past; time to look at what Idzik is able to accomplish.

Ridiculous...

It's going to take AT LEAST $100 to $150 Billion to fix this franchise and everybody knows it!

Get yer facts straight Baldwin.

exactly the man knows how to qb but yet you never saw where he was offered a coaching job of any sort.

for the old-timers was broadway joe ever a offered to be a coach for the jets maybe early 80's after he retired?

and it's true what he said about the jets how you can hate him for this i don't know you have to be a huge homer to believe otherwise......i hope idzik can fix this.
