It's just people reporting on things that the average Jets fan may not be aware of.

Everyone on this website knows this is going to happen, buy my uncle Vito who doesn't know who Stephen Hill is has no idea that Pace, Scott, and (won't even know who Smith is) Smith are out of here.

I imagine the only thing that could be worse than not making it in the NFL is having to leave it, thanks and good luck guys.

They'll probably get another job somewhere.

It's not like they're completely worthless. They just are wrong for the NYJ right now.

They'll make a good compliment players on another team. Maybe not even be starters.

I think we all know this is coming but I thought I'd post it anyway:

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The Jets plan to release linebacker Bart Scott, linebacker Calvin Pace and offensive tackle Jason Smith before the free-agency period begins on March 12, according to the New York Daily News.

The moves would save new Jets general manager John Idzik a whopping $27.7 million in cap space and bring Gang Green under the expected $121.1 million cap, the Daily News reported.
