As stated, so long as the Statue is located near the stadium and is in a football-centric context, I have no issue.
Off-the-field stuff notwithstanding, he was the greatest player(next to Johnny U) in Baltimore history. All that said......Good Riddance. Ed Reed is more deserving of Praise..... |

I'm not inclined to take away that he was a great MLB because of his off the field issues. Yes, he was bad, and perhaps he should be in jail, but that's not my call.

Perhaps if he was imprisoned, you could say he would not have had the opportunity to be great.
He should feel fortunate that this wasn't the case, and he walks away from the game as a HOFer, in the manner that very few HOFers do (a Superbowl Champion). |

Great Leader and Player. So far as we know he didn't bet on games or anything like it. So his on the field play was excellent and that is all that matters.

I dont know what happened off the field, and even taking the emotional and leadership qualities off the table - Ray Lewis in his prime was the the best LBer I have ever seen play football.

Well deserved. One of the greatest LBs and inspirational leaders the game has ever seen.
