Wow you guys got hammered. We got maybe 4-6 inches. I bet all that snow doesn't suck as much as Silver Linings Playbook, which I saw today. Blech.

I was shocked that it got so many Oscar noms. It's a Friday night cable TV movie at best.

It was a decent movie, but really -- Best Picture worthy? Best Actor??

Best picture? Depends on what it's up against as I haven't seen anything this year that's been stellar. I thought the ending was meh but I'm not sure how in line it was with the book so it's hard to say whether it does or doesn't deserve best screenplay.

Best Actor? Absolutely. He nailed that role to perfection. I've actually been thinking about how good of a job he did with that character a few times this week. For me, that was one of the best performances I've seen in a while.

LOL. I thought she was going to die at the end b.c in the beginning when he gets pissed about "A Farewell To Arms". Would have been teh foreshadowing. I was relieved when it didn't happened, that would have sucked. For once, I was rooting for a happy ending.

I thought it was OK. I think making them Jets fans would have been a better choice. More believable IMO.
