What has been the best double album ever?
The Wall? Electric Ladyland? Exile On Main St? Physical Graffiti? The White Album?

WOW...how can you choose?

About 10 years ago a friend bought me Lyle Lovetts double album STEP INSIDE THIS HOUSE. It changed me. I started listening to more song writers, travelled to Nashville, learned about Townes Van Zandt etc... So for me, that's it. I recognize it's not a popular choice but when music can change your life, that's something.

I assume you mean the studio album? Believe it or not, I actually prefer the soundtrack (though I certainly can do without Jack Nicholson singing Go To the Mirror). The studio album is great too, though.

All the worlds a stage is so raw and IMO released way before RUSH established themselves.

Was my first RUSH album.

Learned to play every song on the album.
