Sweet pics Ruby. Historic Park is gorgeous when it snows. Tons of deer in that area too.

Thanks. There were a bunch there yesterday. Amazing how they can navigate those cliffs.

So there is a beer can in the woods now?

Was this cop dressed like a bear, or do you normally maintain a death grip on a beer whilst uniformed cops approach?

Common

This was two nights ago just strolling around town. No woods involved. The cop was actually hysterical, he was very cool about it.

That last picture turns me on for some reason. Hazy alcohol fueled prison flashbacks. The look in your eyes the fear it's oh so glorious

My family and I have been in "Downton Abbey" mode. Finished the final installment available on Amazon Instant Video last night. Can't wait for tonight's episode.

Any of you wankers watch this show? It's as addicting as crack.

Really? I haven't seen it but it looks a little... dainty. Even for me.

I'm a bit biased, having read a ton of novels from this period whilst an English major at college. I would say that if you appreciate any similar literature from that era, tune into the first season. It's available free through Netflix and Amazon Instant Video.

I'm just happy my wife loves a PBS show. That said; I have been walking around with a Mr. Carson vibe recently.

Hey I wanted to ask you if your snowblower was a Leonardo DaVinci prototype

I'm back to civilization today.

My area got about 18" of snow, more in some spots due to those wind-driven drifts. All power cut out, so we had no heat, TV, phone, or Internet. Our attempts to stockpile milk, bread, and canned goods was only partially successful, so the neighbors and I came up with a plan: one dressed up as a deer wandering the neighborhood, and the rest of us waited in the bushes for wandering bunches of hungry idiots trying to kill the "deer". Let me tell you - cannibalism is very underrated. Anyways, we made new outerwear from wild animals roaming around (ha ha - **** you, pit bulls! Ain't so tough now, are you?! )

We originally built a big bonfire in the street, but people driving through kept honking because their cars would catch on fire when they tried to run over the fire. It was like automatic BBQ. You don't see many steaks and chicken wings voluntarily hopping onto the grill like that.

Unfortunately, today is work, so I had to put regular clothes back on, and leave the sharpened sticks at home. At least I got my newspaper.

Yes, my "old" snowblower was the first ever made, the test run. Kinda like the ENIAC of snowblowers. And a hearty LOLGFY right back at ya!

I think this whole snow storm nemo or charlotte or whatever the fvck its called is a sign. I was 'sposed to have a quite Saturday day and night alone with the wife, and some time during that update my resume and fill out the paperwork for a town job. Needless to say, kid stayed home, snow blower bust in to flames to spend all day Saturday shoveling, and the emergency work all day yesterday. No resume, no application. FML.
